Off Night Productions is a new, entirely female-led non-profit performing arts organization in Bloomington, IN. I helped with their social media marketing to further promote their upcoming cabaret. Through collaboration with the artistic and marketing teams, the accounts have successfully seen increased reach, interaction, as well as gaining followers.
I’ve recently been helping with a website redesign through collaboration with the marketing team and by providing feedback, including a website design audit.

Can you spy which past Off Night sets Melinda Seader (our co-founder and resident set designer) has pulled these pieces of our “Love Songs, Reimagined” set from? 🔍 One of the core pieces of Off Night Productions’ mission is our dedication to environmental sustainability from the planning phase of a production through set tear-down. Theatre production requires a lot of materials, and can easily produce a lot of waste. To minimize this, our sets are designed with reusable materials and construction techniques, allowing them to be dismantled, stored, and repurposed for future shows. Our set designer Melinda Seader has been practicing environmentally sustainable prop sourcing and set construction for many years. Her skills make it possible for us to turn our values into action. 🎭♻️🔨

Off Night Productions is seeking a Bass player for our upcoming production, Off Night Cabaret: Love Songs, Reimagined! 🎸🩷 We are seeking a bass player for our upcoming gender-bent cabaret entitled Love Songs, Reimagined. The Cabaret, which will feature six singers performing love songs traditionally sung by the other gender, will be directed by Cassie Hakken and music directed by Deborah Jenkins. It is expected to run about one hour in length. Each musician will be paid $300 for the rehearsal and performance process. In addition to the schedule above, there will be approximately two additional band rehearsals (schedule tbd/subject to musician availability). Off Night Productions hosts professional performing arts events in local theater spaces on “off” nights. What is an “off” night? 💡 🎭 Off nights are nights when performing arts venues are typically closed or “dark” and do not have performances scheduled. 👐 Friday and Saturday nights are crucial for performers who rely on tips, so “off” nights are a more accessible option. 📅 Performing on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights allows more people to attend. 🎟️ Artists can enjoy performances they’d otherwise miss due to conflicting schedules. ✅ Local theater venues gain additional rental revenue, and businesses benefit from increased downtown foot traffic.
