I swear, I must’ve come out of the womb singing showtunes. From the earliest of ages, Lady Theatre had a hold of my heart. From belting obnoxiously loud in the shower to dancing with friends on stage, the arts have always felt like my safe space.

BUT when you combine passion with perfectionism and you get: a hard-core planner. I knew the arts were my first love, and I was unsure how to keep that same level creativity and collaboration in my professional career.

Yes, I was planning my life out at age 11.

It was later in high school when I served on our Drama Club’s Executive Board that I found my heart’s secret mistresses: advertising and digital marketing. While it may sometimes feel like nothing can beat singing to a sold-out show, seeing someone laugh or smile at a piece of my work comes pretty darn close.
